We cannot provide the relevant fund choices to the clients who are characterized by us as "having no derivatives knowledge". Funds must be authorized by the SFC before they can be marketed to the public in Hong Kong. Authorized funds have to comply with requirements of the “Code on Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds”. These include a proper structure, well-defined investment guidelines and restrictions, ongoing disclosure requirements and other requirements related to the fund's daily operations. All funds on the iFund platform are authorized by SFC.
iFund classifies funds as “Group 1 Fund” or “Group 2 Fund” for charging the subscription fee and switching fee. You can find the fund classification in [Fund Overview] > [Dealing Information] and the fee charges of Group 1 Fund and Group 2 Fund in iFund Fee Schedule.
