About Funds

https://www.ifund.com.hk/ifund/share/images/iClass/iFundFAQ_mini.png If the fund that I want to invest is not on the list, what can I do?

If the fund is authorized by Securities and Futures Commission and is under the fund house which is connected with Noble Apex, we will consider adding the fund to our fund list. You can contact us by sending the related fund information to ifundclient@nobleapex.com.

https://www.ifund.com.hk/ifund/share/images/iClass/iFundFAQ_mini.png I am not allowed by iFund investing into one of the funds with notification showing that I do not have the knowledge of derivatives products / investment experience. Why?

According to the investor protection of Securities and Futures Commission, we should assess a client's knowledge of derivatives and characterize the client based on such knowledge as "having general derivatives knowledge" or "having no derivatives knowledge",. We cannot provide the relevant fund choices to the clients who are characterized by us as "having no derivatives knowledge". If you are interested into subscribing the related fund, please complete our [online course on derivative products] and complete the Derivatives Knowledge Assessment.

The [online course on derivative products] is only for iFund clients.

If clients want to take the course, please login to your iFund account and select [My Accounts] > [Client Functions] > [Account Setting] > [Derivatives Knowledge Assessment] on the toolbar on the top.

Funds must be authorized by the SFC before they can be marketed to the public in Hong Kong. Authorized funds have to comply with requirements of the “Code on Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds”. These include a proper structure, well-defined investment guidelines and restrictions, ongoing disclosure requirements and other requirements related to the fund's daily operations. All funds on the iFund platform are authorized by SFC.
